Students at the University of Queensland (UQ) say the technology used to monitor them in exams was stressful and disruptive, with reports of supervisors making unreasonable demands, creating distractions and taking control of computers.

UQ, along with the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Griffith University, the University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney, approved the use of the US-based Invigilator service ProctorU earlier this year after coronavirus meant exams could not be held on campus.
