If a tropical island, gardening and counting birds sounds like your idea of paradise and you're handy with a bit of DIY you might be one of many soon competing for a job with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.
The commonwealth agency is seeking two people to act as live-in caretakers on The Low Isles, a coral quay about 15 kilometres north-east of Port Douglas.
