Brisbane Times Internship

During this internship I coordinated interviews, filmed and wrote stories and interviews with numerous scientists over the festival period. These pictures, videos, interviews and articles were published on the Brisbane Times' website.

This was a really valuable and challenging internship, after an event or interview I was usually given an hour to file a story which was hugely challenging but I learnt a great deal over the festival. It was also great to be working in a team of like-minded student journalists and to be able to talk to many great and interesting scientists. Seeing baby turtles was also a great perk!
